GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP AND OPERATIONS OF THE GRAND CASINO PLAYERS CLUB
General
The Grand Casino Players Club is a loyalty program in which users of the services of Casino Portorož d.d. (hereinafter: member/s) earn points in accordance with the provisions of these general terms and conditions, which can be redeemed for goods and services from the operator. Redeeming points provides discounts or other benefits when using the operator’s goods and services. A higher number of points brings greater benefits.
Members of the loyalty program can also participate in other valid promotions of the operator’s business unit.
The operator is Casino Portorož d.d., Obala 75a, 6320 Portorož (hereinafter: operator).
With the commencement of these general terms and conditions, the previously valid general terms and conditions of the loyalty club cease to apply.
Membership
The condition for participating in the Grand Casino Players Club loyalty program is membership in the Grand Casino Players Club, which can be obtained upon entering the Grand Casino Portorož and/or Grand Casino Lipica.
Upon joining the Grand Casino Players Club, the member receives a Grand Casino Players Club card (hereinafter: club card), which can be used in accordance with these general terms and conditions of membership and operation of the Grand Casino Players Club (hereinafter: general terms and conditions).
The club card becomes active upon collection and activation at the reception.
Membership in the Grand Casino Players Club is voluntary and free of charge. Each member has the right to withdraw from it at any time in accordance with these general terms and return the club card. The member submits a written request for withdrawal from the Grand Casino Players Club, with the operator reserving the right to identify the member.
Every physical person who enters the casino and meets the following conditions can join the Grand Casino Players Club:
- has reached the age of 18;
- does not have a self-prohibition of participation in games of chance issued based on the Gambling Act UL. RS. No. 27/1995 with amendments (hereinafter: Gambling Act);
- does not have a current ban on entering the operator’s casinos;
- is not employed by the operator and/or a contractor of the operator participating in the Grand Casino Players Club loyalty program or performing work for it on another legal basis (contract work, student service, etc.).
Club Levels of the Grand Casino Players Club
The Grand Casino Players Club consists of five levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, VIP Exclusive, and Chairman.
Advancement between different levels is based on the number of points earned:
- Bronze: required annual points: 0
- Silver: required annual points: 4,000
- Gold: required annual points: 15,000
- VIP Exclusive: required annual points: 40,000
- Chairman: by the decision of the operator’s management.
Advancement to a higher level is automatic upon meeting the condition or based on the management’s decision.
Advancement to VIP Exclusive and Chairman levels is done manually.
Advancement to the Chairman level is possible only by invitation from the operator’s management.
Demotion or checking the maintenance of the club card level is carried out once a year or based on the management’s decision.
The point accumulation period considered for transitions between different club card levels is one year from the date of joining the club. After one year, points collected more than a year ago are no longer considered for the purpose of transitioning between different club card levels.

Earning and Redeeming Points and Benefits
Members earn points by playing slot machines, electronic roulettes, live games, and purchasing with cash in bars and restaurants of Grand Casino Portorož and Grand Casino Lipica.
At slot machines and electronic roulettes, the player inserts the club card into the slot, thereby recording the member’s play.
In live games, the member hands the card to the dealer or inspector at the gaming table.
Earned points are recorded on the club card.
In case of technical failures, the earning or redeeming of points may be disrupted or temporarily suspended. The operator reserves the right to unilaterally correct or change the number of earned points in the event of system malfunction, system error, or in case of attempted fraud by members.
A member who has a self-prohibition of participation in games of chance issued based on the Gambling Act or a ban on entering the operator’s casino/s cannot earn or redeem points during the period of self-prohibition or ban. After the self-prohibition or ban period expires, the member can use the points if they are still within the valid redemption period.
The operator is not responsible for cases where the member is unable to earn points due to improper use of the club card.
Earning Points
Slot Machines
- On slot machines, the member earns 1 point for every EUR 5.00 played.
- On electronic roulettes and slot machines with video poker games, the member earns 1 point for every EUR 10.00 played.
Live Games
- The guest earns points by playing at the gaming tables, with the number of points depending on the type of game, play time, and average bet; more detailed information on earning points at the gaming tables is available from the casino staff.
Cash Payments in Bars and Restaurants
- For every EUR 10 cash purchase, the guest earns 1 point, with the exception that points cannot be earned with the purchase of tobacco products.
Earned points cannot be exchanged for cash.
Redeeming Points
Club members can redeem points for free play, as indicated in the table below.
Club members can also redeem points for benefits when using goods and services in bars, restaurants, for hotel services, and for items in the showcase. Points redemption may be limited based on the club level. Points redemption price lists are publicly available in the casino premises and on the operator’s website.
Members can also participate in other promotions of individual units (Grand Casino Portorož and Grand Casino Lipica) with the club card, acquiring other benefits in accordance with the conditions valid for the specific promotion of the business unit.
The operator does not cover any costs that may arise due to unused points.

Using Catering Services
Club members are entitled to free drinks at the bar (coffee, water, juices from the drink machine, draft beer, and house wine).
For the remaining offer at the bar and restaurant, different membership levels have different discounts when redeeming earned points at the bar and restaurant, as well as when paying for services in cash. The discount does not apply to items that already have a discount assigned.

Showcase Items
Club members can redeem points for acquiring items in the showcase, with the redemption limited to one item per day.
Other Important Information for Members
The operator reserves the right to issue a ban on entering the casino, prohibiting the use of earned points and benefits, and terminating the membership in the Grand Casino Players Club for a member who attempts to abuse the club card (e.g., attempting to redeem or redeem benefits using a club card that is not theirs, inserting the club card into a slot machine where another guest is playing, thereby gaining their benefits, or otherwise violating these general rules).
Membership in the Grand Casino Players Club, the club card, earned points, benefits at gaming tables, and other benefits are non-transferable.
The operator is not responsible for possible abuses of the club card. The operator is only obliged to verify the identity of the club card user when directly redeeming points, benefits at gaming tables, and other benefits. If the club card is stolen, the operator is not responsible for the use of benefits issued based on the club card by third parties. Nonetheless, the member is obliged to immediately report the loss or theft of the club card to the operator at the email address [email protected]. The operator will disable the use of the lost or stolen club card within 48 hours.
Members can obtain all information regarding the Grand Casino Players Club at the Grand Casino Portorož and Grand Casino Lipica, on the website www.casino.si, and via email at [email protected].
Termination of Membership
Membership in the Grand Casino Players Club ends:
- with the member’s death;
- if the member terminates the Grand Casino Players Club membership, which can be done at any time by submitting a signed withdrawal statement to the operator;
- if the member abuses the club card or violates the General Terms and Conditions of Membership and Operation of the Grand Casino Players Club;
- if the member violates the house rules of the operator;
- if the operator discontinues the Grand Casino Players Club, which it can do at any time at its discretion.
In the case of membership termination at the member’s request or the discontinuation of the Grand Casino Players Club by the operator, the member can no longer use the earned points, benefits on slot machines, electronic roulettes, gaming tables, and other benefits from the day of receipt of the withdrawal statement or the day of discontinuation of the Grand Casino Players Club.
In all other cases of membership termination from the first paragraph of section 6, all earned and unused points, benefits at gaming tables, and other benefits are deleted on the day of membership termination. Earned and unused points, benefits on slot machines, and other benefits are also deleted in the event of the member’s death, and their legal successors cannot use them.
Personal Data Protection
Upon the first entry into Grand Casino Portorož and/or Grand Casino Lipica, the member is informed of the General Terms and Conditions of the Grand Casino Players Club (the General Terms and Conditions are always available on the website www.casino.si, at the casino receptions) and gives consent for the processing of their personal data for joining the Grand Casino Players Club, fully understanding the operator’s personal data protection policy.
If the member has provided the operator with their email address or mobile phone number, the operator will use these communication channels to prepare and send offers and benefits tailored to the holder’s age, gender, and region of residence.
Types of Personal Data and Purposes of Processing
With the use of the Grand Casino Players Club card, data on individual games and the use of benefits are recorded on the member’s account. Casino Portorož d.d. requires this data to:
Ensure members can claim the benefits of the Grand Casino Players Club membership:
- Information about benefits available based on membership in the Grand Casino Players Club;
- Information about benefits based on the use of the club card;
- Information on current promotions in the casinos.
Prepare tailored offers (direct marketing):
- Information on current and tailored offers, news in the offer, prize games, and services based on personal data obtained within the Grand Casino Players Club membership (grouping members based on personal data, analyzing personal data at the individual level necessary for grouping individuals and preparing offers tailored to members, information through selected channels, etc.);
- Analyze and study gaming habits to optimize the offer and costs and increase customer satisfaction;
- Verify compliance with the Grand Casino Players Club card usage with the General Terms and Conditions of the Grand Casino Players Club;
- Inform holders about technical and legal issues related to the use of the Grand Casino Players Club card.
Upon the first entry into the casino, the member enters into a membership contract for the Grand Casino Players Club and automatically gives consent for the processing of their personal data, fully understanding the operator’s personal data protection policy. Casino Portorož d.d. will process the member’s personal data for the purposes stated in this section only based on the General Terms and Conditions of Membership and Operation of the Grand Casino Players Club.
Right to Object and Change Data
A member can permanently or temporarily object to data processing at any time.

The operator will consider the data change no later than fifteen days from the date of receipt of the change notification.
Users of Personal Data
Casino Portorož d.d. does not provide the personal data of members of the Grand Casino Players Club to third parties, except:
- To state authorities, based on their reasoned written request or legitimate interest for the needs of conducting a specific procedure.
- To external contractors who process data exclusively on behalf, for the account, according to the instructions, and under the supervision of Casino Portorož d.d. (e.g., affiliated companies, printers, etc.) and according to the currently valid legislation.
Retention Period of Personal Data
Casino Portorož d.d. will retain the personal data of the loyalty club member and the holder of the Grand Casino Players Club card until the holder withdraws from membership. In the case of membership withdrawal, the member’s data is blocked and no longer used for the purposes for which it was collected. In the event of card cancellation by Casino Portorož d.d., the data is retained for up to one year from the cancellation.
Information on Rights Regarding Personal Data Protection
A member of the club and holder of the Grand Casino Players Club loyalty card has the right to request access to data relating to them in writing to the address of Casino Portorož d.d., Obala 75a, 6320 Portorož, or by email to: [email protected]. They can also exercise the right to restrict processing, block, and transfer data in the same way.

Dispute Resolution
The operator does not recognize any provider of out-of-court consumer dispute resolution as competent for resolving consumer disputes that a private user could initiate in accordance with the Act on Out-of-Court Consumer Dispute Resolution.
Final Provisions
The currently valid general terms and conditions are published in the casino. The operator shall provide these general terms and conditions to the member at their request at any time during the membership in the Grand Casino Players Club.
The operator reserves the right to change these General Terms and Conditions of Membership and Operation of the Grand Casino Players Club. Members will be informed of all changes to the general terms and conditions on the website www.casino.si and in the casinos. If the member does not withdraw from the contract within 15 days of the publication of the change in the general terms and conditions, it is considered that they accept the changed general terms and are bound by them.
